E-Cookbook Launch!

I’m so excited to announce that today is the official launch day of my very first e-cookbook. As you guys know, I’ve always had a love and passion for cooking. It comes pretty naturally to me and it brings me so much joy preparing meals and seeing others enjoy my food.

Semi-Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

For years, I got asked for recipes but I never shared because I struggled with what made me truly different or unique from the competition. Recently, I had a realization that there is room for us all at the table. It’s not about figuring out an innovative way to make baked chicken, it’s about how I make my baked chicken. I’m excited to share e-cookbook volume 1 and I hope you enjoy it!

With the current climate of our world and everyone being in the kitchen a lot more, I figured the first volume of my e-cookbook should focus on some pantry staples. Some of these recipes you might recognize like a classic chicken pot pie or smashed potatoes but others might be new to you, like black bean and sweet plantain tacos. It’s all about making do with what you have and sharing with you my way of moving in the kitchen!

Not Your Average Sunday Baked Chicken

The e-cookbook was a labor of love. I spent countless hours writing the recipes, testing everything in my kitchen and photographing the food myself in our 1 bedroom apartment. I partnered with an old Macy’s colleague on the design and worked for hours on end to edit it to make sure it was perfect for you guys! Shoutout to my good journalist friend, Terri, who also helped me in the editing process.

Cajun Shrimp Alfredo

Thank you to all my friends and family who have encouraged me to lean into this cooking thing like never before and publish this e-cookbook. I said in my last post I can’t believe it took a global pandemic for me to lean into this passion but I’m glad I did it.

I hope you guys will enjoy this first e-cookbook as much as I enjoyed making it. You can purchase it here:
