Product Review: Karen’s Body Beautiful “Butter Love”

Hi Beauties!

Today I had the Monday hair blues–I stretched my twist out to the 6 day mark and then did dry bantu knots to give it a refresher! That worked well for the weekend, but then this morning it was a disaster!

I frantically searched through my stash of go to product samples to combat the dryness of my hair to hopefully give it a little shine and make it look good in a bun.

I came across a pretty little black container called “Butter Love.”I opened it and used maybe a dime size amount on my hair and it was magical.

What is “Butter Love?”

Made only from rich, thick butters and luxurious oils, Karen’s Butter
Love conditions, softens and adds sheen to fragile, stressed hair.
Great for thick hair.

Please note that Butter Love may melt in transit—especially during
warm months. You can use it melted or put it in the refrigerator to
solidify.

What’s in it?

Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter, Jojoba Butter, Aloe Butter, Essential and/or Fragrance Oils, Grapefruit Seed Oil

Glycerin Free
Paraben Free
Protein Free
Silicone Free
Sulfate Free

How did I use it?

  • Use twice a week on hair and scalp or as needed.
  • Works best on dry hair since wet hair generally doesn’t absorb butters and rich oils readily.

My thoughts…

This product instantly added sheen to my dry hair! The smell was delicious and it was just what I needed to turn 9 day hair into something that was somewhat presentable! I rubbed the hair butter through my hair and used a hard bristle brush to smooth for a loose ballerina bun. I wanted a break from my Eco Styler gel and this was the PERFECT solution. The butter was a great hold and added TONS of moisture to my hair.

Have you tried Karen’s Body Beautiful “Butter Love?”

xoxo,
