Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending Cocktails and Couture party, better known as the C&C party hosted at Bo Concept in Chelsea. Here’s a little bit about C&C from their official website:
“Lianne has founded a new unique event leveraging social media for online editors during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week as well as beauty & fashion events around the world called Cocktails and Couture. The event focuses around the concept of a “tweet-up“ whereby people are encouraged to tweet about and talk online about the event in real time. C & C has been a huge success drawing a crowd of up to 300 online editors, brands, PR reps and Bloggers from the Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle world.”
Check out the website for official pictures and more information! Click here!
Sponsors of the event included, CND’s Shellac Polish, Lierac Skincare, European Skincare Immunocologie, Proactive, Stila and many, many more!
Check out the pictures from the event below!! I had a blast meeting fellow bloggers and the woman of the hour, founder of the event, Lianne Farbes!
*Special thank you to the sponsors of the event for providing an AMAZING goodie bag at the end of the night! The full size beauty products I received was EVERYTHING!!!!!*
After this FAB event we went to the tents at Lincoln Center to take in some of the action of New York Fashion week! I almost died when we got an invitation to attend the Venexiana show! Here’s a little bit more info about designer Kati Stern from Nymag.com:
“After former careers in music and architecture, Hungarian-born designer Kati Stern launched Venexiana in 2003. The highly structured, rock-music-influenced designs are edgy and adventurous: courtesan-style corsets, leather, fur, marabou, laser-cut chiffon and lace, winged leather pants, and textured hose are signatures.”
The collection was to die for! Beautiful bright hues were all the rage during her show.
Check out the pics!
What do you guys think of the collection?
Here’s my natural hair look for the night:
This is a quick updo: one large twist going up the back followed by a huge puff in the front with 20 bobby pins holding it all together! lol Took about 10 minutes (if that to style).
That’s all for now, beauties!!!
