Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint Review

You guys, I love Rihanna so much, but when she dropped Fenty Beauty a few months ago I just wasn’t that excited about spending all my coins to get anything initially from the collection. I watched reviews on youtube and saw hundreds of photos on instagram of everyone (mostly) raving about the collection. I told myself, I would get the foundation when the block wasn’t so hot and things calmed down a bit.

But in true RihRih fashion, she dropped the first colored Stunna Lip Paint in her line on Black Friday! I was like hold on wait a minute! I absolutely loved her collection a few years back with Mac and still own those lipsticks (ya’ll remember RiriWoo) BOMB! So when I saw that the Stunna Lip Paint would be available on Black Friday, I couldn’t take any chances.

I first dropped hints to Nate to add that to my Christmas list but you know how guys are, they don’t understand the urgency of a makeup launch *rolls eyes*. They think it will still be there weeks after the initial drop. So when I woke up on the day after Thanksgiving, I took it upon myself to check out Sephora.com to see if Stunna Lip Paint was even in stock. To my delight and surprise it sure was.

I added it o my cart and quickly realized it was $24, ($32.01 with tax and shipping)! LAWD! That is expensive and a pretty penny to pay for a lipstick. I sucked it up and placed the order because I had faith in my girl Rihanna.

A week or so later, I received my Stunna Lip Paint and decided to give it a go this past weekend. My initial thought was “WOW this stuff goes on really smooth” and then “OMG there’s so much product on the wand.” It did take me a second to get it under control. You’ll see in the photo’s it was not my best application. However, for the cost this stuff is GOOD. It is high quality like other prestige brands and it lasts all day. It feel’s like you don’t have anything on your lips.

Rihanna, you are a genius and this stuff is a winner in my book. I just want you to drop the price just a smidge 🙂 But do you girl, because people will pay for quality. I can’t wait to see all the other colors she drops. Can you guys imagine?! I can!!

Has anyone else tried Stunna Lip Paint? What do you think? Is it bomb? Am I right? Let me know your thoughts below in the comments section.

Love the Stunnah lip on YOU, ME and ALL of my girls I’ve seen it on so far. So color wise, that’s already a win! To look bomb on so many shades of beauty is pretty incredible. I love that it lasts all day, is weightless and isn’t as drying as other popular matte red lipsticks I’ve tried. Aside from having to concentrate when putting it on (the applicator takes some getting used to) I actually love it!

Yesss! Good thing she coined it as the “universal red” because it sure is. I love RubyWoo, like that’s a classic, but sometimes after wearing it for hours it get’s cakey and flakey, this was literally smooth all day. It’s all about the formulation! Thanks for commenting, Monica! <3

I love the lip paint! Purchased it today and I can’t believe how smooth it went on!
