Flawless skin is such a mystery sometimes. Obviously, skincare is super important from a foundation perspective. You can’t pile on a ton of makeup without truly taking care of your skin (and drinking water) BUT you can do something that will help a little bit 🙂

Tinted moisturizer is my jam. I love it. Ever since I discovered it about 6 years ago, I never let it go. To be more specific, I use Laura Mercier Tinted moisturizer in the color Mocha. For years, I used Walnut but ever since my tan this summer I’ve been rocking with Mocha and that was the best decision I ever made.
Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer is a true game changer because of it’s gorgeous coverage. I wear this tinted moisturizer as a foundation to be honest because of the coverage level. Upon first application it immediately melts into your skin and blends beautifully. In addition to coverage, this tinted moisturizer is extremely buildable. Use a lot, or use a little, it’s up to you.
I love to apply the tinted moisturizer with a damp beauty blender. To me this is best way to really get the most out of the product. I just recently started to play with applying it with a foundation brush and that’s been pretty good as well. I like to go between the two and find that the application is nearly the same. The trick to applying tinted moisturizer is to put the product on the top of your hand and really warm it up. I love to rub it in for about five seconds before applying. This allows for the smoothest application. Lastly, don’t forget to get the moisturizer in oil free. In my opinion this actually gives better, longer lasting coverage.

Girl, tinted moisturizer is my jam! I’ve never tried this brand before though. I’ve used MAC and maybelline. And it’s so effortless but looks so good!

It’s really good! Laura Mercier is bomb, a little expensive but worth the investment. Also lasts really long. I usually only buy about 2 a year if that.
