I don’t know if it’s because of yet another upcoming rise in MTA fair here in NYC, but lately I’ve been thinking a lot about what my dream first home outside of NYC is going to look like. Don’t get me wrong, NYC is a great place for 20-somethings but after about 4 to 5 years you begin to get that itch and thoughts start to flood your mind and NYC starts to look less and less appealing as you get older and realize that it’s not being very good to your bank account. Nothing beats life experience though, and I really wouldn’t trade my last 4 years for anything.
But looking ahead, I believe in mapping out your future as you would a piece of art. You think about it, brainstorm a little and then begin to piece it together on a canvas. This blog is my canvas for all things that relate to my future and I would love to begin to paint my future home with these inspirational photos below.
I’ve compiled a list of some of the most beautiful homes that literally almost bring tears to my eyes.
