Hi Beauties!
My hair has recently been straight because I got a much needed trim last week. Keeping your ends fresh in the cooler months is critical for healthy, frizz free hair.
A couple weeks ago when I attended the “Ready to Hair” event hosted by curlBox founder, Myleik Teele, I received a full size Monongo Oil by Ouidad. I’ve been dabling with this oil for a few weeks now, and I must say I absolutely LOVE it! From the amazing scent, to the light weight feel, this oil is ALL I NEED!
Here’s the product scoop via Ouidad.com:
This super-concentrated, multi-tasking serum is infused with Mongongo
Oil, known as “hair food” in Zambia for its high vitamin E content and
superb regenerating and antioxidant properties. With American Palm Seed
Oil and Broccoli Seed Oil, the formula restructures hair as it deeply
repairs damage to restore a healthy appearance to even the dullest
locks. By forming a protective film over the hair fibers, hair is
instantly more manageable and has a natural, healthy-looking luster. It
coats hair to protect against UV rays and environmental aggressors to
help defend against damage. Further, it protects hair from aggressive
heat styling and helps speed up drying time.
Ingredients:
PPG-3 Benzyl Ether Myristate, Coconut Alkanes, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate,
Schhinziophyton Rautanenii (Mongongo) Kernal Oil, Brassica Oleracea
Italica (Broccoli) Seed Oil, Elaeis Guineensis (Palm) Oil, Tocopheryl
Acetate, Hydrogenated Castor Oil/ Sebacic Acid Copolymer, Fragrance
(Parfum)
How I use Mongongo Oil:
I spray about 3 pumps of the oil into my hand and rub the oil together, then I proceed to finger comb the oil evenly through my hair. My hair is instantly shiner and easier to detangle after this process!
I give this product 4 out of 5 stars! It’s only not a perfect 5 because of the price. A small 2 ounce bottle will run you about $36 and 4 ounce $58.
It is definitely worth a shot though, your hair will thank you later!
Have you tried Mongongo Oil? What did you think?
your hair looks great but GOOD LAWD the price!!
@Latoya Girl..I know! But I guess it's one of those products that should last a while in theory..so the investment might be worth it for the long run…you should smell it though…AAAMAAAZING!
