Hi Beauties!
I wanted to share my fantastic experience I had at the Curly Nikki Natural Hair Meetup in NYC. After wild anticipation Oct. 20th had finally arrived, and I was beyond excited to meet as many NYC natural hair beauties as I could.
The event took place at the swanky Cartlon Hotel on Madison Ave in true Curly Nikki Fashion. It was a red carpet affair of course! As I entered the venue I was warmly greeted by hostesses and cameras immediately began to flash capturing all the many natural hair beauties upon arrival. I got to the event right on time and didn’t expect to see Curly Nikki there right away. However, she was there a little bit before the event began. As groups of naturals started to surround her for pictures she embraced each person by not just taking the picture but also taking a few extra seconds to hug them and chit chat. She was an absolute pleasure to meet and is everything her blog portrays her to be and more.
The evening was sponsored by Mizani and the co-founder of naturallycurly.com, Michelle Breyer, was also present to show support to her friend, Curly Nikki.
I was super surprised and over the moon excited to actually meet up with a few of my readers at the event! A few of them came up and actually spoke to me and that made my entire night 😉

Over all this was a fantastic event and a great success and WIN for not only Curly Nikki but the entire natural hair community!!! My head was spinning by the end of the night after trying to look at all the GORGEOUS natural hair in the room!!!
